That is why we are committed to providing an outstanding work-from-home experience with our wellness program, especially taking into account how challenging this industry can be.

Working on a contact center might present some challenges for the collaborators such as dealing with the moods and frustrations of some customers and always responding to them with the best helpful attitude. We recognize the excellent work done by each of our collaborators involved in the process, which is why our wellness program is completely free and accessible to all of them. We want to support their overall well-being and therefore we offer legal, financial, psychological, and nutritional counseling, health education, and much more. These are all relevant areas whose well-being is reflected in an extraordinary job.

We see people and not only numbers

We are here to support each collaborator, identify their strengths and improve with them in their opportunity areas. It is necessary to prioritize and normalize the discussion of topics such as mental health, which has a great impact on how each employee feels and how this is translated into their daily work.

Excessive stress can result in burnout and it’s important to prevent this and guarantee well-being. It is essential that our collaborators feel safe and supported, to achieve this we constantly provide them with strategies to mitigate stress or anxiety at work in addition to psychological counseling. We promote open dialogue strategies in ICC so that each collaborator knows that he/she is listened to, we also promote moments of physical and mental rest that are pertinent to be carried out periodically.

Mealtime is also important

When working at home, the importance of a good diet and its schedules can often be overlooked. In this respect, our Wellness Program promotes and provides tools for our collaborators to take this aspect into consideration. For a functioning adult who not only has to work but also manages his home and other tasks, time can be a limitation. One of the tools that we have shared recently is Batch Cooking, a method that allows a healthy way to organize the week’s meals by cooking only once or twice a week.

This helps to reduce one of the problems faced by working from home and which is that collaborators order food at home due to lack of time. Usually, this food does not meet the nutritional requirements to maintain good health conditions. Eating properly and healthily helps each team member to have more energy, concentration, and better mental health; this greatly reduces the risk of chronic illnesses such as diabetes or heart disease.

Economic stability impacts the overall well-being

Having financial stability has a great impact on mental health, attention, and on what you prioritize. Not achieving financial goals or having big debts can generate frustration in the collaborators, irritability, and a lack of prioritization of the tasks assigned. This is a relevant matter that is taken into account in ICC, we recognize that we are all human and we still have a lot to learn. For this reason, we offer strategies so that our collaborators obtain professional advice and prioritize their expenses in order to achieve serenity. Our wellness program helps define short- and long-term financial goals and to know how to achieve them.
