Have you ever dreamed of working in a place where you didn’t have to stress about traffic, bad weather or not having enough time to do everything you needed to do?
Previously, people were accustomed to working in a traditional office environment, spending long hours in front of a computer screen, enduring rush hour traffic, and struggling to find time for rest and self-care. However, at Interactive Contact Center, we believe that work should revolve around people, not the other way around. That’s why we’ve embraced remote work as a way to prioritize our team’s well-being while achieving even better outcomes for our clients.
Over the past two years, our remote work model has enabled us to attract top talent from around the world and retain them as valued members of our team. We’ve found that this approach not only benefits our employees but also enhances our company’s overall performance. At Interactive Contact Center, we’re committed to putting people first and creating a workplace culture that fosters collaboration, creativity, and growth.
Choose how to manage your time
Working from home provides an option to have better time management and that is one of its key benefits. When collaborators can spend more time at home, they can set up their schedules and work at the hours that best suit their needs. People used to spend time commuting from home to the office and from the office to their homes. Now they can use this time to spend it with their families, go to the gym, have a night out with friends, or even just a relaxing alone time.
We recognize that each collaborator has a different lifestyle thus different schedule needs that can be fulfilled by working remotely.
Work better and faster
A previous Harvard University study published in 2015 concluded that the experience of working from home can be described as “positive” for both the employee and the company. In this study, 91% of telecommuters said that by working from home or away from the office they felt they had a better performance at work. Collaborators who work from home may be more productive because they have fewer distractions and fewer interruptions. Everyone knows that going to the office often means long talks with colleagues spilling tea or being distracted by other people’s chatter.
Minimize stress levels
Stress produced by work has become a risk factor, since it can cause coronary diseases, dry skin or acne, digestive problems, hormonal disorders, and even mental problems, in addition to triggering other ailments. Against this backdrop, working at home is a real option to reduce the negative consequences of stress in the office.
Stress is reduced by having a quiet work environment, and by not having to travel, especially in public transportation, the time spent on commuting is avoided, giving rise to the possibility of greater self-care. Family care times are more easily available, which is reason enough to have less stress.
Undoubtedly working from home brings many advantages for better development both as workers and as people. However, at ICC we believe that to achieve these benefits, it is necessary that companies respect the established schedules, manage harmonious work environments, and generate spaces to develop the welfare of each one of our collaborators.
Our commitment to remote work is not just about the practical benefits of working from home, but it’s also about fostering a workplace culture that prioritizes the well-being and growth of our team members. By doing so, we believe we create a mutually beneficial win-win relationship that can lead to improved performance and better outcomes for all involved.
